“Marni naa putni Kaurna
yarta-ana”
“Welcome to Kaurna country!”
Some 200 years ago, this is how you would have been greeted by the locals.
We would like to acknowledge the Kaurna People (Kaurna is pronounced Garna) as the traditional owners and custodians of the land that the caravan park sits on. We respect their spiritual relationship with country that has developed over thousands of years, and the cultural heritage and beliefs that remain important to the Kaurna People today.
The placename/suburb for Kingston Park in Kaurna language is Tulukutatangga.
